Regeneration actions
Employment opportunities
From socio-economic research, cooperation with the community, local authorities and businesses will help address poverty and the need for employment for creating a substantial improvement to this economic hub.

Education and skill training
Our vision aims to increase the number of qualifications and skills for locals. The Silo-D community centre will act as a focal point in terms of Education and Training, where locals would be able to take part in training and guidance that will raise them.
This highlights objectives 4 and 5 (Connecting the community and strong social infrastructure)
Open spaces
Open spaces are located all throughout the site which enhances the sites physical character and brings well-being benefits. Open space is also critical in providing enough space for distancing by learning from the Covid-19 experience.
This highlights objective 4 (connecting the community)

Local Jobs
To ensure local jobs to local people, we will create opportunities for jobs with a mixture of skills.
We provide high-paying jobs through our office spaces and creative industries at a lower rent level.
To attract people not working at home, we will include free high-speed broadband.
To guarantee local people get jobs, we would like to carry out a policy that on renting workspaces will be reduced by 5% if the business has employed at least 30% of their employees within a mile radius.
This highlights objective 3 for sustainability as more workers will be able to travel sustainably to work.
Social Activities and Facilities/events
River festivals and events will take place on the dock. We will improve social cohesion with our, restaurants and cafes which are currently missing from the area. Food events and markets are also included to attract people to the area.
This highlights objective 4 (connecting the community) and objective 6 (increasing the relationship with the water).

Connecting the physical area
We want a low bridge for cyclists and Pedestrians that will improve the connectivity issues of the current bridge, whilst allowing boats to pass through.
This will help link our site to the Excel centre and improve the integration of our development with surrounding existing communities.
Footfall will increase and help community services to be used and thus tackle the socio-economic issues of the area.
This highlights objectives 4 and 5 ( connecting the community and establishing string connections).
Supporting Culture
Our dock features and covered markets will generate cultural and community events such as guest speakers and performance arts.
The inclusion of historic machinery throughout the site will help enrich the culture of the area by ensuring that the industrial character is not lost.
There will be an exhibition space for university students and school children to showcase their artwork. The historical buildings will provide an interactive learning opportunity focusing on the history of the Royal Docks.
This highlights objective 2 for creating an identity of the area.
