Royal Docklands Regeneration & Revitalisation
Acerca de
-
The site is well-connected within and around the site. This is clearly seen with the promenade from Millennium Mills to the Silo-D site.
-
The amount of open space contributes to our sustainability and post-Covid needs for social distancing and to hold festivals and activities safely around the Silo-D thus creating an innovative area.
-
Sustainability can be seen through the usage of old historic materials for infrastructure and achieving a sustainable community through promoting economic growth through shared skill opportunities and thus promoting social cohesion and integration.
-
The use of office rental space will help boost investment and economic use and thus contributing to the economic hub.
-
In terms of post-Covid cities, in relation to the 15-minute city idea, we have cooperated the idea into our site. This can be seen by the use of public open space, local employment opportunities, nearby residential space, nearby public transport, local shops etc.
